Intro:
For
students new to Yoga and for experienced students wanting
continuing practice or a refresher! We will work on basic asanas
(poses), along with fundamentals of posture, breath and
stretching. Appropriate for students of any age, size or
abilities. Tuesday Morning Yoga: For experienced students or those new to Yoga, this class combines elements of Introductory, Gentle and some Level I practices: basic asanas, breath, stretching and stress-reduction. Appropriate for students of any age, size or abilities. Continuing: Provides progressively more complicated work for students who are ready to move out of Intro class, but are perhaps not yet ready to move into inversions. Preparations for Level II will be emphasized, including upper-body strengthening. These classes open with a 15-minute discussion of anatomy, nutrition and Yoga philosophy. This class is appropriate for students with at least six months’ yoga experience and no active injuries. Gentle: A slower-paced class emphasizing gentle stretching and supported poses. Appropriate for students of any age, size or abilities. Yoga/Pilates Mix: Traditional Pilates exercises and Yoga blend to bring you core strength, flexibility and stress-reduction. Appropriate for beginners or experienced students of any age, size or abilities. Level I, II: Including a greater range of asanas, this class is a continuation of Level I and includes preparation for those who wish to move towards inversions. These classes open with a 15-minute discussion of anatomy, nutrition and Yoga philosophy. |
